About Steph

I wasn’t always calm, balanced, or grounded…

Like many women juggling demanding careers and full lives, I once felt constantly on the go — achieving, striving, yet somehow off balance.

I’m Steph, 37, a French woman from New Caledonia, now based in Barcelona. I’ve lived across three continents and worked for global brands like Expedia, Johnson & Johnson, Air France, and Amazon.

During my corporate career, I earned five promotions, a country transfer, and was often assigned to high-impact projects — from migrating business operations across countries to building and scaling European programs and leading high-velocity teams. I’ve always loved learning and building things, which helped me thrive in fast-paced environments — but it also came at a cost: my balance.

At 29, while living in Prague, I tried hot yoga — out of curiosity. Then came Hatha, Ashtanga, and finally Vinyasa, which became my lifelong practice.

During my most intense years, daily yoga anchored me between my body and mind, helping me navigate demanding times with more clarity and resilience. It makes me sad to see so many people struggling with their bodies and minds — risking their health because they neglect movement and recovery.

Now, as a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher with additional training in breathwork, the neuroscience of recovery, and the ice plunge method, I’ve made it my mission to help active women over 30 recover from fast-paced lives and reconnect with themselves.

I believe that moving more isn’t just for fitness — it builds mental clarity, humility, and stronger human connections. Movement makes us better people.

That’s why I created recover-with-steph.com — a space where I blend:
